The Waffle Wagon in Canon City

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the staff. Food was below par, bland, and over all not good. Didn't make it a block before 3 out of 4 of us where feeling Ill. Green chili over hash was just onions and absolutely disgusting. We where hoping for good food but that was horrible. The only decent thing was the bacon and toast, but you can't really screw those up. We won't be back.

OK food. It tastes like typical diner food. I wouldn't eat here again. Nothing really outstanding, just OK. They did bring the coffee in a carafe, which was nice.... That's about it.

Great breakfast. Perfectly cooked bacon, Perfectly cooked sausage and perfectly cooked eggs. We loved our waitress. She was very sweet and very nice to us. The resturant was clean and peaceful. The restrooms were also clean. The parking lot was nice and easy to navigate for us. It was right off the highway too and very easily accessible. We ate every crumb of delicious food off our plates. The green chili was amazing. It was not too hot and not too mild. It was a very nice breakfast. Very reasonably priced as well.

Staff was friendly and the food was great! The staff took extra care to assure we were socially distanced and sanitized! Thank you Waffle Wagon.

Best service in town! Food is casual and fresh, quick to go ordered and noticeable compliance to social distance and masks. 😊
